Handshake is more than a place to search for jobs. It offers powerful tools that help students discover and navigate career opportunities with intention. This session introduces Career Collections, a feature that allows career centers to curate and spotlight employers, internships, job postings, events, and fairs that matter most to their students. Participants will learn how to set up Career Collections, apply collection rules and filters, and use them to cut through information overload. The session also shares one institution’s early experience implementing Career Collections, offering practical insight, lessons learned, and ideas for using this feature to guide students toward timely and relevant opportunities.

Handshake is more than a job board—it’s a full career-building platform. This session will guide participants in leveraging Handshake’s capabilities, with a focus on the Experiences Module. Attendees will learn strategies for documenting experiences, connecting them to campus career objectives, and using data to support student success. The session also covers how the Experiences Module can enhance career readiness, storytelling, and long-term planning. Sample templates and implementation guidance will be provided, helping professionals use Handshake more strategically to create meaningful career momentum for students.
